In today tutorial I will show you how to check your paper pattern for peep toe shoes on your last. I know that some of you don't do this, I mean don't check the correctness of their pattern with paper pattern, and move right on to check your pattern with leather. Sorry, but this is just a waist of a good material, as if you know how to correctly check your pattern with paper pattern, you save your time, money, leather and just unnecessary headache. By checking if your paper pattern fit perfectly the last, will be your first real exam of your pattern.
To last your paper pattern correctly, you should first crumple it , as I do it in the video, to give it the flexibly, as still it is a paper and not leather.
In the tutorial I will show how to make correction to the symmetrical pattern that we made, and we will do it on the last. As the inner side of our shoes must be higher, we will adjust our pattern actually by deforming the inner lines, but creating the perfect visual correctness of top-line on our peep toe shoes.

Now, knowing how to adjust the inner side of the shoes, the questions that I want to ask you is.
Do you think the shape of the last can influence on our need to make the correctness or not to make the correctness at all, and how do we know that?
Share your thoughts in the comments below.
Have a great weekend,
